Natural Beauty on the land-Nepal

I really can’t feel tires of thinking, painting or writing about my past. It’s been about three decades that I have been away from Nepal. My most childhood and adolescence life has painted all over Nepali terrains, hills and mountains plus greenery around. Not only the places lure me to paint and write, it mostly the people, the daily livings, the simplicity of life that pulls me onto the canvas three whole months altogether to finish.

In this picture, the people, the houses the terrains, hills and mountains are really but they all are not from the same places though.

This is a big acrylic painting on canvas which is nestled in the western part of Nepal, there is a picturesque village that lies in the enchanting shadow of the renowned Fishtail Mountain. This village, a hidden gem, is blessed with a natural beauty that captivates the hearts of all who venture there.

The village itself exudes an air of tranquillity, with traditional homes constructed from local materials nestled among terraced fields and vibrant gardens. The gentle sounds of flowing streams and chirping birds provide a symphony of nature’s melodies that accompany daily life. Walking through the narrow paths, one can witness the harmonious coexistence of humans and nature, as the village seamlessly integrates with its surroundings.

The locals, known for their warm hospitality and rich cultural heritage, are the heart and soul of the village. Their smiles and welcoming nature make visitors feel like part of the community, offering a glimpse into the authentic Nepalese way of life.

Traditional practices, such as colourful festivals and dances, bring the village alive with vibrant celebrations, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the local culture.

One of the village’s greatest treasures is its proximity to the Fishtail Mountain. At sunrise and sunset, the mountain’s snow-capped peaks glisten with a golden hue, painting the sky with hues of pink and orange.

This ethereal display creates a surreal backdrop, leaving visitors in awe of nature’s artistic prowess.
